Never get movers, got some this move and it was definitely worth it. I chose Empire because a friend recommended them. It was a great experience Charley and his team raise every expectation I had for using a moving company. They showed respect, great follow-up, had a plan and went over it with me. Not sure if I’m moving again but I will recommend them.

I was especially impressed with how they handled the stairs. Carrying bulky furniture down without scraping the walls is no small task, but they made it look easy. Fragile boxes got the same careful treatment. By the end, not a single item was scratched or broken — a huge relief compared to what I was bracing for.

Empire Movers really came through for me with my furniture move. I had this giant sectional I was sure wouldn’t fit through the doorway, but they figured it out without even scratching the walls. They were quick but never careless, which I loved. Honestly, they made a tough day way easier than I expected. I’d call them again in a second.

Empire Movers made our move incredibly smooth. Alex and Charlie showed up early, walked me through the entire process, and carefully packed all my fragile items. They treated everything with care, especially my grandmother’s antique mirror. I was amazed by how quickly they worked while still paying attention to detail. These are true white glove movers who know how to handle delicate furniture. I felt completely at ease the whole time. This was by far the most stress-free move I’ve ever had.

When I say Charlie and Vlad are the best movers in NYC, I mean it. They carried my piano down three flights of stairs without a single bump. Not only that, but they also set up my entire living room exactly how I wanted it. They were upbeat, clean, and clearly experienced. The level of respect they showed for my belongings was incredible. I didn’t lift a finger and was moved in before lunch. It’s rare to find movers this reliable.
