Horrible experience. Incredibly bad and inconsistent communication over the years, absolutely no timely response or my questions would always go unanswered, a very unreliable lawyer. If you’re transgender and seek support applying for the asylum, search for other lawyers, because Smily would consistently misgender me, even during my own trial. She also never let me know that my first work permit went to her address instead making me wait an entire summer to receive my second work permit and then she treated it as some sort o... read more
