I was lured into this place recently after telling the sales man that i have sensitive skin and i will not use anything on my face i was badgered. I finally caved and said i would get a hand lotion because I don’t like getting things for my face. Aggressive sales tactics at Emily Beauty Store. Staff walk around the booths and outside the store approaching people nonstop. They said they’re from Israel and speak Hebrew. Emily Beauty and the first-floor booths appear to be run by the same group. Don’t get pressured or scammed. Be cautious!
Salesgirl with heavy accent is extremely aggressive into getting you to try their products and buy. NGL, I liked the products but for that price, it would have been something I’d need to discuss with my partner in which I told her that. She was dismissive of my concern and kept going on and on about how much of a deal I was getting. I walk by this place and the sales girl asks me if she could ask me a question. I said sure. As I’m walking over she asks where i’m originally from and I say Palestine. Her smile fades, she stops walking and says I don’t know where that is, do you mean Israel. I ask some questions to determine if she’s being political or unaware and yes she was being political. Salesperson was very aggressive in luring me into the store. I am sensitive to fragrance and botanical extracts - they cause eczema and asthma for me - and told him this upfront, but he insisted that his products are "medical grade" (whatever that means) and refused to listen to my concerns. I felt trapped into trying the products, though thankfully my insistence that I could not use them without consequences to my health eventually got me out of there without purchasing anything.
