Customer service is horrendous.
This used to be one of the better online banks in the early 2000s due to its high-interest savings account rate, but it has leveled off significantly since then as the rate is no longer very competitive with other online banks that have more products. They only have one savings account available and limited CD offerings. It is also difficult to move money as there is no debit card available, so bank transfers are the only option.

I can't say enough nice things about this bank. FIrst of all they pay a very good interest rate and their interface is very easy to use. During the fires in Lahaina Hawaii they deposited around 2K into my account to help either myself of those in need who were victims of the fire. When has any bank actually given you money? This is such an amazing act by a bank to help those in need.
