Great training program! I liked how it was self paced and hybrid so I can work on my own time. You can really tell how passionate Cathy is with what she does. I passed both my psychomotor exam and cognitive exam on the first tries because we are trained to be “competent EMTs”, not just to pass a test. Definitely recommend to a friend!
I had such an amazing time with ETA! I loved the self-paced program, and the resources given were amazing. The videos were very detailed and slowly explained, the quizzes/exams were a great resource, and the textbook was nicely organized. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone.
Signed up for the class and Cathy provided all the information to get started on the self paced course. I really liked the course because it was completely flexible and worked much better with a full work schedule. Absolutely the best experience ever. The class provided a smooth transition from online to in-person. The instructor, Cathy, is available at any time and she is the sweetest instructor ever (plus she’ll answer all of your questions!). If you’re thinking about joining the academy…don’t hesitate, it’s the best!
This course made it super convenient to take my EMT course while still in other classes at college. Its convenience doesn't detract from its effectiveness; I still learned a lot and passed my NREMT exam on the first try.
