I recently had the great experience of co-facilitating a yoga and art retreat at Emergence. It’s hard to imagine a better setting for transformational work! The art and yoga/sound spaces are thoughtfully and beautifully set up. The space is very convenient to restaurants and hot springs downtown. Most importantly, the hosts, Chris and Jessica, are amazing. They both have a clear commitment to their own artistic and healing practices, and it really shows in the care they take with special events. Highly recommended!

An amazing couple and an amazing place! It was a transformative experience being in the presence of the golden rectangle sacred space they have and experiencing a magically healing visionary sound bath guided journey with Chris; and a wonderful creative soul nourishing art project with Jessica. They are truly worth seeking out!

I am a yoga teacher and I utilized Emergence's space for my long weekend retreat in November, 2025. I was delighted with Chris and Jessica's professionalism, communication and collaboration (Chris hosted a soundbath and Jessica led an art project for my group). Emergence is well-located in a beautiful and historical building in T or C with everything a workshop or retreat could need. The studio is gorgeous, has an amazing sound system and comfortable cushions, backjacks and blankets. I will be planning a future retreat here!

We used the dance space area for contemporary dance rehearsal. It's a generous sized room with a super smooth floor. The condition and texture of flooring is very important for the piece we're working on and the qualities of Emergence's floor exceed. Also, climate control is perfect and the spacious bathroom is quite nice Overall our rehearsal experience was lovely, enhancing our creative process.
