My husband was in memory care at Emerald Crest from November until his death in July. I just want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Emerald Crest Minnetonka. My mom spent her last 5 months here. I couldn't have found a better place for her. They treated her with respect and dignity beyond any expectations. I was always welcomed there when I went to visit. The staff made me feel like family there. After my mom passed away, I continued going there to volunteer and attend church services. The pastor, Arlen, is so involved with the residents. Emerald Crest Memory Care is like a prison for the elderly. My relative starved themselves to death at this facility because they were so depressed and had no control over their life. Another family member put my relative there against their will, greatly exaggerating memory problems. My relative wanted in-home care, which they could afford, but the family member that has power of attorney didn't want funds drained because they would not get any money if it were spent on caregiving. Just interviewed here today for housekeeping position....very racist lady the older guy was okay a lady tes was said to meet me 5 minutes before me coming in got their and was told she didn't work that day I met with a very mean person the lady asked me did I want to interview outside I have 2 years of experience and the offered me 13 dollars prior to that I was told pay would equal to experience very sad I wasted money going their today:( :(
