Outstanding!! My previous CPA made a huge, very costly mistake over years on my taxes. When I realized there was an issue, she had absolutely no idea what to do or if a fix was even possible. Elliot knew immediately what the error was. Unfortunately, it was too late to repair. But with his incredible knowledge he was able to give me alternative fixes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I cannot say enough about Elliott, Lisa and the staff at EMD. I met them years ago and was in a panic because my old accountant had retired. Lisa said come right over; I met with Elliott and within a month, my taxes were up to date and done so very professionally. Elliott is the only person that can get away with saying you owe almost 10k in taxes and I hug him. I know we have to pay taxes but he makes it painless. Thanks!!!
We were lucky to have found EMD when we first moved to New Jersey five years ago. They were right across the street! The knowledge and experience that Elliot brings to the process more than justifies the small difference in cost relative to using a tax preparation package. Now that we've moved a few hundred miles away, we really appreciate the ease of providing our documents through the portal.
