I would not recommend this place at all. From the start, I felt judged rather than supported. I was paying out of pocket because my workplace didn’t have WSIB after I got hurt at work, and instead of receiving care, I was made to feel like a burden. At my last visit, the physiotherapist (Amira Abdelshahid) seemed unsure of what she was doing and gave me the impression she didn’t want to take the time to actually help. I had a positive experience at Embrun Physioplace, with Emad. I’ve seen rave reviews for Amira at the same location. Clean, calm, professional, no rushing, lots of staff around to help/support and various tools/technology. Emad was thorough, knowledgeable, professional and respectful.
I have been receiving treatment from Amira since April 7th, 2025. When I injured my shoulder at work, Amira and her team were incredibly supportive and helpful throughout my recovery. The experience and atmosphere were fantastic. Amira is a kind and compassionate person who is also extremely knowledgeable.
