On my way through town I was getting an alert that my car was overriding and to idle it immediately. It was getting dark, 25 degrees and I have two little kids in the back. I pulled into the gas station to try and check coolant levels myself and noticed the shop across the street, it didn’t appear open but I called the number out of panic. Brought car in for new tires and was told what it would cost. When I picked up the car, the bill was for 3 timesas much as originally quoted. Needless to say, I was not happy about it and am considering filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney-General’s office. Recommend you go elsewhere if you don’t like surprises when you get your car fixed.
