This place is horrible. My grandma has only been there for a day and these people are not taking care of her they way they should be.. she is in the rehab part, they had the nerve to ask her if she wants them to pull the plug... what kind of question is that.. the food is horrible they gave her burnt toast it was black black. They're not giving her her meds when they're suppose to.... please please please do not put a loved one in this horrible place.
A terrible place to take a loved under staffed, terrible food,great lack of housekeeping rooms are always dirty, Doctor does not want to communicate with the families. The list can go on and on. Just take this advise take your loved one else where
DO NOT PLACE A LOVED ONE WITH THIS HOME!!! The negligence of the staff at this home is disheartening and alarming. This care center is the source of the horror stories and stereo types about nursing homes. Staff drugs the patients so that they don’t have to actually care for them. It’s also correct that they wheelchair all patients. My grandfather fell there multiple times and the no care was taken for the wounds. This is the worst nursing home I have ever seen. Dr. Worley should have his license stripped from him. My grandpa was in this nursing home for about a month. While he was there they kept him wheel chair bound, in diapers and on a liquid diet. We thought he had months to live. He was so depressed while he was there. We realized what an awful place Elms Haven was and we decided to move him to Keystone Place. The place we moved him to is half the cost of Elms Haven.
