I wouldn't recommend anyone putting there family in this home since the new management have taken over the business it has changed he is unapproachable and very unprofessional there's no activities in the home the same meals are provided all the time my grandma lived in this home and I had to move her to another home due to the manager rohan staff were unhappy and didn't get treated the way they should of staff told me the manager would always be watching the cameras and wouldn't let staff talk to families which I found real... read more
Our dad was in Elmhurst for almost 3 years the first 2 years very happily but since the home changed hands in April 2024 it has been a nightmare. We raised concerns with the current owner which were ignored. He replaced most of the old staff who knew and loved our relatives and from day one was money orientated. I have visited many care homes in Bradford over the past 40 years, and Elmhurst is by far the cleanest, most caring one I have seen yet. All the staff are welcoming, friendly, attentive, patient, kind, sometimes in the most challenging of circumstances. Many homes boasting a ‘better’ reputation, and charging far more are left standing by this family-run, homely home. Thank you Debbie, Rachel and everyone involved.
On behalf of my family I would like to extend my gratitude to all staff at Elmhurst Care Home for all the love, care & time they put into my grandma carol hamon!
