Was a client here for 8 years. In 2024 Becca screwed up & submitted my return to NYS late. NYS tried to hit me with an over $2,000 fine. I proved that I had filed on time. Becca ended up having to take responsibility for her mistake. After this Elma’s tax said they could no longer take care of me as a client! So I have a new accountant now & im so happy with them. Was a great company, been with them for years…. They updated , created a portal , which worked for uploading , but I could never download my information, when asked for help , via email , during a moment I needed the most , 1 person excluded herself - after I explained 3 times the portal wasn’t working for me…… after they dropped me, worked with a wonderful lady , that made sure I got all of my documents I needed. Excellent service & nice people. Have recommended to friends who are also small business owners.My friends are also very happy with Elma’s tax service. Great company!! So glad I found them 6 or 7 years ago.
If we could leave zero stars we would. All my husband and I can say is run in the opposite direction very quickly! Very disappointed with level of accuracy & professionalism.
