People are very friendly.
My wife and I have been going to Age Well and Core Fit for the last 3 years at the North Laurel Community Center and the instructor Roxanne is a big reason why we keep signing up. Roxanne makes it fun while keeping everone involved and on target. She has a great smile and a very engaging personality. She has an extensive background and certifications. She is a great instructor and cares about her partisaments.
This senior center's gym is much better equipped than the Elkridge location, except for 2 of the treadmills being out of service.
Roxanne Hartman employs her vast education in health & fitness to infuse consistent energy, smiles, and laughter in Agewell class. Never mundane, with exercise, aerobic & musical variations. Exercise modifications are offered, EVERY class. Roxanne fosters a TEAM spirit of camaraderie. Today, a fellow student did a 4 minute plank! (Applause & awe by all follow…. 🤩) Faith in her students to reach their full potential safely is the goal, and a gift to us! Kudos to Roxanne, for truly AGING us WELL‼️
My name is Tanya Ray. I started taking Core and Aging Well classes at the Laurel Senior Center in November 2025. Roxanne Hartman is the instructor. She is outstanding in that she is experienced, knowledgeable and encouraging. In a short time I see how I’m in better shape than when I started. Roxanne talks you through the aerobics and exercises with and without weights and emphasizes proper form. I truly enjoy the classes and look forward to going.
