There are no words to express the amount of love and care the staff here showed not only my mom but me and my family. She was a resident here for almost and year and I came almost everyday to see her and the staff always made me feel so welcome. My mom recently passed and for such a sad moment in life they showed so much comfort and compassion. We were so blessed to have her here in her last stages. Thank you so much to all the staff that cared for her. I love you all!

They honestly don’t even deserve one star. We scheduled a walkthrough, toured the facility, and truly loved it. After that, we spoke with Judy in admissions about transferring my mother-in-law, and she assured us they had plenty of beds available. She then had us go through the entire process of sending over all of my mother-in-law’s paperwork so we could move her from another facility. After that, we waited and heard nothing for over a week. The facility provided both skilled nursing and end of life care for my father. They took excellent care of my dad. The day dad arrived both the executive director and director of nursing came out of their offices and introduced themselves to the family. The nurses, CNAs, rehabilitation team the cleaning staff and etc always said hi or provided an update when the family visited. The care team monitored my dad closely and called the family with concerns and suggestions to improve care and comfort. I have worked with facilities... read more

My mom has been at this facility 3 times. I cannot express enough how thankful that I am for Elk River. The facility was always very clean. The therapy was thorough and fun. They were very aware of her abilities to participate in activities and helped her to regain her strength so that she could return home. The techs were fantastic. The nurses were great. I can't say enough of how grateful that I am for Elk River Health and Nursing Center!
