All who answered the phone were courteous and helpful. I worked with Chris on packing up an E bike that I bought off Marketplace and they shipped it via Bikeflights to me in Minnesota. Chris packed the heavy E bike superbly and it arrived as good as it left!! Recommended!!!
Brought my bicycle in to have fenders put on. They had it on the rack before I left the shop and told me it'd be done that day. I forgot the front wheel, took it in the next day and my bike was ready anyways. Friendly, genuine, reasonably priced. Will continue to support their business in the future.
I was in from out of town and got a flat on my road bike. I Googled the nearest bike shop. I walked into Elk City Cycles. I was greeted and told him about my flat. They were very friendly and willing to help. I bought a tire and tube and it was installed. I wanted a different size tire. It was no problem, and he swapped tires. The prices were fair, and service was exemplary. I highly recommend locals or people passing through to give this shop a chance.
You are only as good as your word! I called you guys first so I wouldn't waste a trip into town. Because of the dishonest person who answered the phone when I called. The trip was still a wasted trip.
Brandon, Chris, Josh, and John always go above and beyond to provide their mechanical expertise, and get the repair done right. Without question, the best bike shop in Charleston.
