I paid her an $8,000, plus an additional $500, retainer and after continuing my case for over 2 YEARS she sends me an email telling me that she's quitting because I didn't pay an additional fee to goto trial. I haven't heard anything from her in almost 9 months. No phone calls, no texts, no emails, and no written letters of any kind saying that I have to pay her more money.
