Banks suck! But Elevations is the worst. The fees here should be illegal! 31 dollars for a non sufficient is sickening especially when we may be struggling with bill. When requested to refund it the customer service agent told me why are you paying bills with no money. I will be closing my account. This bank disgust me with the amount of money paid to them.

Elevations offered me a credit card with an excellent interest rate, a car loan with the best interest rate possible on the market at the time, and profound customer service every time I have needed them. This is all while not having the best credit score and being a low-income student then young professional. Additionally, they offer, and pay for, a debt management program called GreenPath that allowed me to pay off debt accrued in college (not student loans) in a manner that worked with my income. I will be favoring them f... read more

Worst Bank Ever Dont fall for the cozy community involvement, customer service, and disaster relief commercials advertised by this credit union. Theyre a bank, pure and simple, and you know what that means. We believe in empowered banking. Heres how that worked for me:Moving to Loveland a couple of years ago, I opened an account at Elevations and then sold my former residence. That sale represented my life savings, 35 years of work at the same job. I planned to deposit the money in Elevations and then pay off the mortgage on ... read more

I have been with Elevations for almost 6 years now since I went to college at CU. I recently applied for a car loan and have had the worst customer service experiment. It started off fine when I called to apply for an auto loan, however I was initially offered a 10% APR, which quite frankly insulted me. I have an excellent credit score that I have worked hard for and I have not defaulted, to put it in perspective Colorado Credit Union offered me 3.2% off the bat. I don't know if it is because I am young or that Elevations is... read more

They are a racketeeering, fraudulent company. They will take your money and not give you a receipt. They will demand a certain form of payment which no law requires. They will destroy your credit rating even if you pay them in their preferred money. Had I known they were in the business of involuntary debt slavery and racketeering I would never have done business with them. This is not a trust worthy company. Do business anywhere else but here. When an account closes, under GAAP, that account is debt free and nothing is owed... read more

I would give this bank 0 stars if that was an option. I called and spoke with a "banker" about their HELOC products. Based on the information I was given I decided to proceed with the loan process. AFTER my credit had been run (which I did not authorize), I received a call from a different "banker" stating that the way in which I was intending to use the HELOC "was not an approved use of that product." I then proceeded to ask the same questions I had asked the previous banker to verify the information I had received previous... read more

Always had excellent service with elevations and would consider some of the staff as friends to me until today, went to my Loveland branch where I go twice a week everybody knows me by name, we have business accounts, heloc, savings, checking etc, went to make a car payment 40 minute round trip, gave my account number, she told me she was a manager, would not make it without my driving license, I told her I had my verbal password, refused to help me or hear it, I told her everybody in here knows me including the lady sitting... read more

After being a proud member of Elevations Credit Union since 1999, I am sad to say that I am extremely disappointed in the decline in professionalism, costumer service and decency I have experienced in the last few months. In April I deposited a certified check that I had gotten from my other bank days before I needed the funds to be there. I have never had a certified check go on hold, but Elevations held the check and when the government attempted to take out my taxes, Elevations declined them access to my money. This led t... read more

Business response:

The above complaint alleges that our member, Meredith B******, submitted a deposit to the credit union, and that the credit union placed an extraordinary hold on the deposit which she alleges resulted in one or more dishonored items presented against her account. After researching the transactions and the history of the account, the facts submitted by Ms. B****** appear to be incorrect. The deposit in question was actually submitted by Ms. B****** to a third party out-of-state credit union service center that is not affiliat... read more

This is by far the worst bank in the world. I suffered a miscarriage and I was involved in a car accident (which I was not at fault) all in the same month. My insurance paid the value of the car off but it left me with a little Bal. I tried to make payments on the remaining balance. I can't even walk in with CASH money and pay a payment. I tried to call in to make a payment and there is only guy in the whole branch that can take my payment and we work the same hours. I've left voicemail after voicemail even with my card info... read more
