This was my first deep tissue massage and it was excellent. The issues and chronic pains I deal with were discussed before hand. I felt that the amount of pressure applied was perfect and there were knots in parts of my back I didn't even know about. At no point did I find any of the massage painful, yet it was intensely relieving. I booked my next massage before I left.
Jim at Elev8 does an excellent job of both creating a relaxing environment and customizing his massage services. His studio is warm and welcoming as is his demeanor. The music selection is atypical in an interesting and fun way. Much more than Peruvian pan flutes with tonic-dominant chord progressions.
