I highly recommend going to Robert at the Elephants for tuxedo rentals. My son rented his prom tux there. Robert is fantastic! He is helpful, kind, and patient. My son ended up going back to make some changes and they were so accommodating. And all of his staff was great too!
The staff is very good at clipping the dress on you making a full dress slim and changing the style. I ordered a gown believing that it was a straight form fitting gown. It arrived a full size too big and a full skirted style. Robert assured me that his dressmaker could make it into the straight dress I ordered. Alteration fee $400 ( he did pay for half). Do NOT use this store if you want a peace of mind ! I ordered and paid a deposit for my dress after scheduling an appointment on the first week of January for my son’s May 23rd wedding. I received a call at the end of January from the ow er stating that my dress will arrive in the first week of May. I called at the end of April and was told that the dress will arrive on May 7. Just finished a fitting for nephews wedding. Everyone there was super friendly.relaxed atmosphere. Robert was excellent to work with, and also gave us a great recommendation for a local lunch spot(sinapi's).
