I bought a beautiful knife from Chef Elan as a birthday gift for my husband. He was helpful and informative, but didn't try to oversell. It was a great experience and the knife is perfect. Just recently, I decided I needed to know how to sharpen it. So I took the class he offers, and what a great experience. I no longer feel intimidated about sharpening my knives. Just attended Chef Elan’s sharpening class, outstanding! I have been sharpening for a few years and could produce a respectable edge ,however , attending Chef Elan’s class has taken my skills to a new level.
