I bought a beautiful knife from Chef Elan as a birthday gift for my husband. He was helpful and informative, but didn't try to oversell. It was a great experience and the knife is perfect. Just attended Chef Elan’s sharpening class, outstanding! I have been sharpening for a few years and could produce a respectable edge ,however , attending Chef Elan’s class has taken my skills to a new level. Great coach, attentive, patient, and knowledgeable. Sharpening a knife or any edge can be frustrating and even somewhat daunting for a beginner.
