I’ve been going to Flatbush Nail Bar for months now and decided to try Element since it was a close walk for me, 10 minutes as opposed to my usual 20-30. I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. I booked a $65 service expecting a certain level of professionalism and comfort, but that was not the case. I was initially told to wait 30 minutes, which I accepted, but it turned into an additional 20 minutes on top of that. By far the worst, least hygienic Brazilian wax I’ve ever had. The wax person (I believe her name was Eva) was rushing the entire time. She didn’t leave the room when I asked for her to step out the room for me to take off my clothes for privacy so I had to awkwardly undress in front of her. Because she kept rushing to get the waxing done, she got wax on my nails, twice, and kept going over the same areas multiple times leaving them very raw and irritated. Element has been my go-to salon for the last 6 years. It's always very clean, and I love how well decorated it is. Ishu gives great gel manicures that last for weeks. She is so kind and always happy to give color recommendations. It may not be the cheapest option in the neighborhood, but if you value cleanliness and consistently quality work, Element is the place to go.
Seats for pedicure are not the best. Fixed position so I had to take breaks so I wouldn't cramp up. But service was 👍 great!
