Great personal service. Elegance in Time has been my clock store for over 30 years. I recently took my schoolhouse clock in and was greeted warmly. My clock was repaired within days. When I got home I noticed the chime was slightly different. I took it back and was again greeted warmly. Explained my need to have the chime restored to it's origional sound and within an hour I had my clock and the bim-bam chime was as close to the origional sound as could be expected for a 30 year old clock. Interesting Store Elegance in Time has recently moved to a bigger store a stone's throw from the old store and is much better equipped to handle the stock that they carry. They have a vast collection of beautiful clocks that are centerpieces for homes. This being said, most are expensive purchases and definitely are considered investments. The staff is over eager and more than willing to spend a lot of time with you.

Clock parts and repair service Tues, May 1, 2007 Stopped by to get a quartz movement for wall clock. They had a part with longer shaft and they told me I could just build it out in back. When I told them that would result in it protruding beyond the wall support blocks, they said (snippily).. “well, you should have brought the whole clock in!” I said I thought I could make it work and I asked how much it was.. They wanted $15.00.. When I said they are available on internet for $3.50, clerk said go get it there and wouldn... read more
