The kind folks at the Arbor took such great care of my dad- he really loved it there. I was worried that when he had to finally go into memory care that he would get depressed. Just the opposite happened. He brightened up and became the life of the party, flirting with the staff who were all incredibly warm, kind, and patient with him. We were rushing to find an assisted living community for my father following his stroke, and wanted a place where we knew he'd be well cared for, but also encouraged and supported in his recovery and continued independence. I was thrilled to find Elegance, an absolutely lovely community in a fabulous part of Berkeley. They made the transition and move-in so smooth for us, and my dad felt not just welcomed, but embraced.
