Been using ELEK Cable HV for a while and is a very intuitive and fast tool for complex cable arrangment systems. We can indeed optimize pretty well our solutions specially In really complex systems. The support is always pretty fast and thoughtfull.
Have switched to using SafeGrid from other earthing grid software, and found that it is excellent replacement. It gives more accurate results due to better modelling tools available. The helpdesk is also very efficient in assisting my queries/clarifications that I have while using the software.
Hi Allan, thank you for the clarification regarding CablePro cable sizing calculations being based on the 2017 version of the standard, the interpretation of the CablePro fire-rated solid/stranded copper conductor table and columns, and the earth-conductor sizing requirements. The information was clear, helpful, and assisted us in better understanding the calculation basis and conductor selection methodology.
