Eleanor's art is striking. Despite using inflexible glass, her paintings are fluid and dynamic. Her medium is unique and her works are beautiful. I recommend booking a private appointment if you are interested in purchasing a unique glass shard painting.

I've known Eleanor and her art work for more than 5 years and continue to be amazed by the amazing range of her work. So many artists seem stuck in the same genre and do the same thing over again maybe in another color. Not Eleanor! She continues to grow and perfect her craft in still life, portraits, fantasy-scapes; both with glass shards and without. Seeing her work on the web site is great but these are really works that need to be seen in person, preferably in her home gallery.

Eleanor Fisher's artistic vision is creative, vibrant, new and exemplifies out of the box thinking. The artist has painted an entire painting out of either oil or acrylics and then hand cuts and applies shards of glass over the entire painting...sometimes using multiple layers of glass and other found objects. The results are vibrant with depth and breadth combining mediums I have never before seen together. These paintings are easy to get lost in and change depending on the light and movement. Wonderful!
