Reasonably nice place to sit on a nice late summer day. Good entrance to a sometimes overlooked gem (at least to non New Yorkers) Riverside Park. Not as famous as Central Park just a few blocks away, but offers miles of bike and walking paths along the Hudson River along with great playgrounds for the kids and recognizable locations from the movie You've Got Mail.
Dog park is best in city.
Great statue. Even better dog park.
This is a nice statue to see while walking through the Upper West Side. It sits at the entrance to a nice park/greenway.
