I wish I would have done more research before choosing Richard for my patent needs. If you Google Leavitt Eldredge Law Firm, you'll find several separate Google business listings for reviews. In my opinion, Richard is one of the worst patent attorneys in the Metroplex. I initially met with Brandon for an informal intake meeting, and he gave me a brief overview of the patent process. Awful unfortunately! I talked with Richard, great conversation. I had 3 patents to do. I paid half to see the work. The first one was done within 3 days, so I paid the second half. The next 2 were done a week later, but they needed changes due to their illustrator. It's now 4 weeks later, and nothing. I follow up weekly with the same response, stated differently, about checking with the illustrator. Go elsewhere.

After nearly six years, multiple emails and phone calls, giving it time to breathe. Speaking to one of the managing members… it is clear they never submitted my patent. I have requested a refund. I’ve been extremely patient. They apparently delivered a false patent pending number, because it never showed up in the system. Extreme disappointment is an understatement. Richard Eldridge was hired to challenge a patent pending application. He requested the payment upfront which I provided. After 6 months he has not done the job even though he stated up front, it was a straight forward issue. Every communication we’ve had was initiated by me. Each time I reached out to him his only response was he can’t find the application number but they are working on it. I've used the Leavitt & Eldredge Law Firm for several years (2021-Present) on multiple patent applications (both non-provisional and provisional). They have always delivered, assisted with every request I have made, answered promptly, and met all deadlines; all for which I am incredibly thankful!
