Most of the people here should be ashamed of the way they treat some of these patients. I don't think my grandfather has been treated worse anywhere except here. Good luck trying to get a complaint filed, instead of acknowledging where they went wrong they would rather throw out excuses for their treatment of patients. Not to mention that their "solutions" are things that should already be in place. My grandfather was left lying on the floor with his blanket and pillow and they claimed they "found" him like that. Excellent place too work at as an LPN. They provide awesome training if you need it, the staff and upper management are very caring and help you if needed. Not to mention the pay and benefits are nice. They take excellent care of all the residents, the CNAs and Nurses always go above and beyond. Probably the Best Nursing Home by far in WNY.

One star is even too many for this facility, and for this staff. The staff members are beyond incompetent and could not care for my grandmother in even the most basic ways. They lost her dentures and her clothing, failed to communicate with my family on more than one occasion, and could not follow simple protocols to include timely medication distribution and repositioning. My mother had a major stroke 4 months ago and has been at elderwood for over 3 months now and the care is herendos she is paralyzed on one side and can't take care of herself and they can't even change her diaper at all the phones never work so I can call her I can't get to see her anymore I want her out of the place like yesterday
