The care here is poor at best. I was sent here from Sisters of charity Hosp. For pain management and recovery from a fall. Getting a nurses attention via call button takes between 1 and 1 and 1/2 hours. Since they wouldn't schedual my pill, I kept getting meds an hour late or more.So much for managing my pain. Nurses are loud in the hall, and have very bad attitudes. Residents I talked to that have been here awhile have loads of similar stories.

I had high hopes for this facility for my mother's 3-week rehab stay. We are at the end of week 2 and the level of care she has received is much less than expected and seems to be getting worse. I have had to come in to change her dirty and /or wet sheets at least 3 times. Other times I have found her in bed without blankets and pillows. Her call cord on the floor 3 feet from her bed. Sent my dad in for respite care he was perfectly fine. The next day I call to see how he was doing and the staff said that "he's refusing to eat". I show up and he is unconscious, there's blood all over his face and on the floor . They didn't even call an ambulance. I had to tell them to. He needed emergency brain surgery for blunt head trauma. This is the worst facility I've ever encountered.

Upon my husband entering the sub acute rehab unit 1 North hall, we encountered a strong toxic odor of urine, I immediately complained to Director of Nursing, Rene, she denied the problem, but mentioned she would tell housekeeping. The next day housekeeping shampooed the hall rug which aggravated the situation more, now we have odor of urine mixed in with wet rug, mold & mildew.
