I love "El Torito Market" in Carlsbad. This little market has everything — from authentic Mexican ingredients to ready-made items like fresh salsas — and it’s all very reasonably priced. The butcher here really knows his meat, and everyone was warm and helpful. They carry imported Mexican tortillas as well as local Carlsbad tortillas, the kind of quality you won’t find at your regular grocery store. We even purchased mole imported directly from Oaxaca, Mexico. A gem of a market if you’re looking for the real deal!
