This place is an absolute rip off. I live in a one-bedroom apartment, their minimum bill is more than my electric bill. They take advantage of people with low income with these stupid charges. I'm going to have more to say about this cuz I'm pissed. Derby water company. Scamming people. They send you a letter saying your toilet runs longer than 5 minutes. But they can't give you proper billing usage. It's a rip off.

I've paid my bill over the phone with friendly people for YEARS! NOW they say pay online or in office. I don't do online. And I won't authorize automatic pymnt, who knows WHAT they'd pull after this? I don't have working vehicle. Guess I'll have to WALK to office to spit in their face as I pay my bill.

Horrible thefts. They don't even stick to the bills they send out. Got a bill that had a couple late payments on. Bill was $309.43 due 01/08/2024 late on 01/09/2024. Yet on 01/03/2024 they sent out a disconnection notice for $312.26 + $30. Past due fee and shut water off 01/04/2024. Now how is that even legal?. Ihave the paper bills to prove it. If you can just change the dates to 5 days early. Wouldn't more companies do that all the time to steal more money from the customers just like El Paso Water Co. in Derby ?
