Great product to work with Amazing quality and customer service
Designer boards - Whilst it looks good from a distance and apparently will need little maintenance compared to wood there are some negatives. The fibres: the deck was only down for two days and is now covered in micro fibres which are very obvious particularly on the darker colour. Thankfully I went with the Alpine Ash colour all over. Ekodeck say there is nothing to worry about as it happens in the final sanding process and not to worry they will not splinter if you are bare footed and they should disappear eventually. Just finished the patio decking, the results are fantastic. I started with an aluminium sub floor from ClickDeck because the deck is only 100mm off existing pavers. Adam from Ekodeck helped me figure out the best way for a DIYer like me to approach the construction - he had good advice (such as how to install deck screws without splitting the planks) and guided me through the design process.
