Very light weight construction. I install boat loaders of another brand. This is a far less superior product. Lifting a 140 pound Journey 10 foot flat bottom skiff has bent the cross bars. Aluminum 6 gauge wiring. Just all around a Low Budget loader. I installed this unit for someone who was visiting from California. We all were disappointed in it's quality. Definitely get what you pay for with this unit.
