We LOVE EGLIN ELEMENTARY! We love it because: the school is small=class size is small=our child gets more individualized attention. The teachers have been fantastic for our child. The school nurse has been wonderful the few times he needed her. The front desk personnel know us, which I appreciate (we are not just a number to them). That being said, I hate Common Core Curriculum which is used in FL public schools-but it is not the teacher's fault they have to use it, nor is it the Principal's fault!
All 3 of my kids have been lucky enough to attend Eglin. With all schools you have teachers that are good and bad as well as student issues. I do believe Eglin elementary tries hard to handle the situations that come up. I have had to talk to the principal a few times and he is firm and fair. He does his best to make sure we were happy with the outcome and was great at getting back to us on any issues we may have. Place is ran like a 3 ring circus
A fantastic school. Great teachers and administration. They are always helpful when I am there to do school photographs. I always look forward to being on the Air Force Base.
