The process of finding and installing my heat pumps was made easy by using Efficiency Maine. The follow up was also easy and helpful. I really appreciated the entire process.
I recently went through Efficiency Maine’s weatherization program insulation And Airsealing and, despite serious concerns, agreed to accept a 2-inch spray foam insulation job for my manufactured home — a decision I made reluctantly just to move forward. That said, I want to make this crystal clear: 2 inches of closed-cell spray foam is not enough for Maine’s climate — not now, not in 2025, and certainly not for homes using modern heat pump systems.
