I recently went through Efficiency Maine’s weatherization program insulation And Airsealing and, despite serious concerns, agreed to accept a 2-inch spray foam insulation job for my manufactured home — a decision I made reluctantly just to move forward. Derek was great - the inspection with the video call was slick and easy to do, and it only took 20 minutes as promised!
I got a quote from your so-called vendors. Double the price I paid, so after the rebate I still would have paid more than I did. This is totally wrong. I am able to get my insulation installation inspected by a State of Maine certified energy auditor and I should be able to get the rebate. If the insulation is done correctly isn't that what is important? Looks to me like the only thing that is important to your organization is making your vendors richer and the homeowners poorer. Shameful!!!
