I closed my account a few years ago. It was an ordeal because they told me they didn't know how to transfer funds to my current 401k. They had to contact another office in Lake Oswego. I thought my relationship with them was over, but I still keep getting mail from them...birthday cards, of all things. Perhaps they want me to remember that experience?
