My mother has had her money with Edward Jones for years. But as I have taken over her affairs I am discovering that this branch has well meaning but very incompentant financial advisors. You will be better off at Schwab or anywhere else. I have had nothing but grief dealing with misfiled documents, checks sent to the wrong address, mistakes in setting up accounts, you name it. I am serious: these folks are rank amateurs. They don't have a clue how bad they are.
