I have been with Edward Jones and Brent Terrill since 1991. That’s 30 years of solid advice for investing my nest egg. He and his staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my investments. Edward Jones is a fiduciary, and that means that he is legally bound to offer advice in his clients’ best interest with no consideration of what is in his financial best interest. The word “fiduciary” is key to selecting an advisor that you can trust.
I was recently shopping around to find a brokerage firm to handle my retirement needs and felt compelled to leave a comment on the matter. If you like to have your money managed by arrogant, pretentious people then this is the place for you. Poor customer service, can't return phone calls in a timely manner and charge ridiculously high fees and commissions for everything, including re-investment of dividends.
