Be cautious when purchasing from Edmund Allen Lumber. We bought wood siding from them for a new home in Downers Grove, IL, and after about 18 months, the stain began to fail. Edmund Allen did come out to inspect the issue but ultimately attributed the problem to the Sherwin-Williams stain used on the product. When we reached out for support or a possible solution, we received the following response: Attached is a copy of our policy for semi-transparent and semi-solid coatings. Edmund Allen Lumber does not offer a warranty on any semi-transparent or semi-solid coatings.
