My daughter had a box delivered to me on 10/3 for my Birthday. The box arrived, later than requested. When I opened the box, the 2 strawberries in the middle had MOLD growing on them. I called and they said they didn't know if they had another driver coming my way. I told her I didn't want another box, just credit my daughter back the $37.78 ($25 + tax & delivery) She refused and credited her $7.49 (2 strawberries). My husband bought me a $77 box of chocolate covered strawberries. Of the two dozen berries, 3 or 4 were red and ripe. The rest were white, green, hard and/or dry. I called this morning and spoke with the owner. She said that strawberries just aren't in season, there was the recent freeze, and ALL strawberries were like that right now (untrue, Publix had great ones!).
