My husband and I visited Edgewood Summit many times over several years. 2 years ago, we decided this was the place we wanted to live. I have lived here at Edgewood Summit for 6 years. My life is so much simpler now than when I was a homeowner. I do not have to worry about who is going to mow my lawn, fix my broken water pipes or whatever else is broken! We have an excellent staff of repairmen here who are available for all our needs and provide these services with a smile. My husband and I moved from Florida to Edgewood Summit 10 months ago. We had attended several marketing events when in Charleston and knew we wanted to move closer to our kids. This has turned out to be everything we had heard and more. One of the real blessings is making new friends…everyone is so nice and the staff members are super accommodating. My dad moved into Edgewood Summit this past summer & couldn't be happier. He is never in his apartment because he is participating in one of the activities offered to the residents. He is especially pleased with the food & dining experience. He says how much he likes living at Edgewood Summit all of the time. My Dad moved into Edgewood Summit this past summer, he was not 100% sold about moving but my all of the siblings knew it would help him get his independence back by not having the stress of maintaining his home. We can’t begin to say enough good about Edgewood and the people that work and live there.
