I bought a used Corolla from Edgecomb’s. I highly recommend them. They don’t work on commission so there’s no pressure to buy. There’s no haggling— they offer fair prices that are set in stone. They only sell the highest quality brands because they don’t want to sell lemons. Their customer service goes above and beyond. I expect this car to last a long time. When I need a new car one day, I will go straight to Edgecomb’s.

My family has purchased three Volvos from Edgecomb's dating back to the early 2000s, and in general, have been pleased with their performance and longevity over the years. Nonetheless, over the course of the last year, there have been some management/ownership changes and the quality of services ha declined greatly. We most recently had them hang on to one of our family Volvos for two days without ever completing the work - with a scheduled appointment. This was extremely inconvenient as we tend to travel a lot for work and family, and this put us a day behind on a trip to visit an elderly relative and we ultimately had another dealership handle the repairs we needed. In late 2016, they repl...  more>>

Hi Jasmine, we are not under new ownership or management, but from what you have described maybe we should be! Neither of these situations are acceptable, and your frustration sounds very valid. I apologize that you experienced this and that it impacte…See More

I cannot say enough how pleased I am with my recent service. I bought my car about six weeks ago. It started to have some costly electrical issues and my 30 day warranty had run out. I voiced my concerns and they listened. I just pick up my fixed car and there was no charge even though the repairs were quite costly. This is the value and pleasure of working with a small business who's goal is customer service. I too, own a small business and I find that on occasion I may lose money but I gain confidence and repeat customers by making things right. Thank you Sherry and Charlotte and Diana and the nice mechanic who I did not get his name. You have a lifetime customers and one who knows a lot o...  more>>

First-time customer called up there to have service done on an XC90 never had someone pick up the phone and so rude and smart as they did and still want my business would never go there I would not recommend a friend or enemy to service the way they talk and they treat you it's totally unprofessional not a good professional place to deal with paid extra money to go to Volvo of Charlottesville

In my more than 20 years of car ownership (and accompanying maintenance), the thing I value most is knowing that I can trust what my repair shop recommends for my car. I have lived in many places and been to numerous shops along the way. I am not interested in being told that something with my car needs to be fixed if, in fact, it does not. I trust the service department at Edgecomb's 100%. It is such a relief to know that they are interested in doing what's right. You can't go wrong doing business with them.

When my car needs to be repaired, I trust the mechanics and their work - but as an added bonus, the waiting room is a kid-friendly, comfortable place, and the staff is personable, helpful and welcoming.

This is family-owned service at its best. Trustworthy and reliable, and consumer-friendly.
