The A.R.E. library of Cayce readings is a long, hushed room off the Virginia Beach campus, not a carnival of crystals. I used a table near the stacks, then walked the garden toward 67th Street with the ocean a few blocks east. The bookstore and the meditation room get more foot traffic than the archive, which suited me.
