RecommendedMy parents jerry and Selma Mandelberg live at edenwald and I have been incredibly impressed by the efforts of the staff to keep everyone safe. Two years ago I determined I was not safe to drive my car to the beach and my balance was so poor I could no longer frolic on the beach as my legs would not keep me upright in the ocean and my poor balance would heave me into the sand. SO - no driving and no beach walking - UGH! Today, 20 lbs lighter and with a program of exercise begun by me and augmented by Ryan, I can now drive to Bethany AND walk at the water’s edge. Most people don’t do their homework. They don’t even know what questions to ask. We chose Edenwald after researching CCRC’s for 5 years. We had a matrix of our wants and needs and rated them on our visits. We learned what questions to ask. We visited about 12 CCRC’s, then narrowed them down to the top 3 and then went back for 5 more visits to each one.
