Very unprofessional service. My hair stylist even went as far as to say "whoever cut your hair last obviously had no idea what they were doing. Your layers look awful, they are so uneven." The last place I had my hair cut was at Eden.... maybe it's just me, but I don't think that telling customers how "awful" their layers look is how you get repeat business. One star is one star too many for this salon. First impression: the entire salon smells musty. It's a run-down old ranch house which the owners have converted into a "spa." What a joke. Everything in there looks old and used. Despite this, I continued to go there because I adored my stylist from the very start. Unfortunately, that stylist disappeared and the owners/management would not tell me where she went, nor why she left. Eden Salon and Spa! Can't say enough good things about this salon. Not only are their prices reasonable, but they carry my make-up (Bare Minerals) and offer specials on mani/pedis. Plus, they're open on Mondays. which is always nice. My stylist is great and the other employees are so helpful. Located on Tyre Neck Road in Portsmouth, Eden Spa is a great find.
