This location has been under new store management since mid-April 2025. As of August 2025, I have a completely new staff. As the still "fairly new" Store Manager of this location, I would like to personally invite everyone back, who has had a poor experience in the past. I've read and taken into account, all of the negative comments about the store, and have taken the necessary steps to correct the actions of the previous staff. This staff in this store is extremely rude and unprofessional. when I asked them about long pants, they completely ignore me and kept talking their joke. will never go back again.
This store in Clay Terrace of Carmel is very nice and had a great selection. However, the woman working today April 9, 2025 at 11:00 was very mean. I had to ask her to come to the register to make a return and she asked why I was returning in a moody tone. Then, I looked around to find something else. The woman kept giving me dirty looks as she was frustrated with my busy toddler. It is with great sadness that I report that I will not be shopping at the Eddie Bauer in Carmel IN anymore. I’ve been in there several times to purchase and to return items purchased and the staff there rarely has a smile on their face. In addition, the quality at Eddie Bauer has changed. They used to have a wonderful product guarantee which they no longer have. As much as it hurts, I may have to turn to other outdoor clothing options.
