Very disgusting staff, trying to always deny your car. very bad experience
Do not use Economy Rental Car! What worked: The car was a good car, in good working order, and worked as expected. Why I will never use them again: I chose Economy since I wanted an affordable, and economical rental option. Purchasing online, they were competitive and a good price, so I chose them. Once at the desk, it felt like a bait and switch situation. - They REQUIRED, even when my credit card has rental insurance, for me to purchase $30/day insurance from them! - They placed a $1000 hold on my card. Please see that - there is a mandate "CAD 11.95 + 37% tax PER DAY" that is charged on credit card insurance coverage which bumps up the total cost.

Do not rent from this place it was an absolute nightmare, they are not located at theairport. The communication is absolutely horrible they had me waiting for nearly two hours. There is no check in desk the people are rude and should not be working in the industry, they will mislead, double talk, argue will try and provent you from cancelling and will call you a liar for stating the facts, this is the very poorest experience in car rentals, have never had such a nasty experience.
