Doesn't deserve 1 star. Booked weeks in advance, flight got delayed to after closing, called and were told we could get the car the following day. Got another rental to get to hotel and back. Returned following day and told reservation was canceled but can pay for a new one 5x the cost. Avoid at all costs.
SCAM!!!!! NEVER RENT FROM ECONOMY! THEY HAVE HIDDEN FEES!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! WAS GOING TO CANCEL OUR RESERVATION BECAUSE WE WERE UPSET OF ALL THE HIDDEN FEES! THEN REQUIRED DECLARATION PAGE OF INSURANCE WOULD NOT TAKE INSURANCE CARD! AGAIN DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. THANKS JAKE FROM PRICELINE SELECTING ECONOMY FOR US!!!! WE ENDED UP PAYING ALMOST $500 ADDITIONAL CHARGES!
Worst experience we’ve ever had at any car rental place. They charge ridiculous hidden fees that are double the price of the rental itself. Ended up having to scramble to find a last minute rental to avoid these outrageous fees. Nothing in their policy gives you any warning about it either, and the employee was extremely rude and dismissive, lied multiple times about the policy and refused to let us speak to anyone higher up. Please save yourself the headache and book with a company that doesn’t try to scam people.
An excellent company to rent a car and start our new adventure !
