Made a car rental reservation for an upcoming trip to San Juan, unfortunately, due to some work schedule problems , I had to postpone the trip a few weeks. Total scam operation. Returned vehicle in same condition as when I rented it but the counter lady claimed to have found a microscopic scratch on the hood of the car. I could see absolutely nothing. She even said it looked like a cat clawed the hood?!?! Not only did I purchase the Expedia insurance, but I also purchased the insurance at the counter…..but this broad charged my card $1200 for the insurance deductible even though the policy clearly indicated there was NO deductible !!!! A great rental experience. The only difficulty was getting the shuttle from the airport, which requires a phone call and the number is different from what is in the Expedia listing.
They are now known as Cabrera Truck and Car rental, so new management/company. Don’t look at the “relevant” reviews because they are not relevant anymore. My experience was wonderful and the front desk attendant (Rosa) who helped us out when we arrived and left was the best! Prices are fair and there is a shuttle from the airport to and from the rental center (just make sure to call the number they provide upon arrival).
